Calling all artists!
To celebrate our 2025 summer reading theme of “Color Our World”, we will be having an art contest for all ages. The winning submissions will be transferred onto mesh banners that will be prominently displayed in downtown Stevensville for the community to enjoy.
ARTWORK THEME:
Capture the energy, diversity, and beauty that “Colors Our World” every day! Whether it’s the natural landscapes around us, the bustling activity of community life, or the vibrant cultures that shape our town, we invite artists to showcase their interpretations. Use any medium—painting, photography, digital art, or mixed media—to bring your vision of a colorful world to life.
OVERVIEW:
Submit your artwork for the 2025 “Color Our World” themed Street Banner Contest! 12 designs will be chosen for display on light posts throughout Stevensville. Open to artists any age.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:
Anyone with a valid LTPL card. (Residents or reciprocal borrowers)
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE:
Submissions taken March 1 to April 19. Winners announced May 15th. More information here:
Winning banner designs will be divided by grade, with two winners per grade group:
PreK – 2nd | 3rd – 5th | 6th – 8th | High School | Young Adult (18-24) | Adult (25+)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The banners will include credit to the winning artist. (First name and age group.) By signing and submitting an entry, the participant agrees to the terms and conditions of the contest. Children entries without a guardian signature will not be eligible for judging.
