Many of our patrons enjoy checking out holiday movies this time of year. Here are just some of our favorites that we have in our collection. But if you can’t get them now, good news: We have them year-round!
Home Alone: It’s not for everyone, but if you’re looking for some slapstick laughs, this may be the movie for you. Rated PG, and recommended for ages 7 and up.
The Santa Clause: Home Improvement was at the height of its popularity when this came out, and Tim Allen’s witty, often sarcastic humor carried over into this film as well. Rated PG, and recommended for ages 6 and up.
A Garfield Christmas: Join Garfield, Odie, and Jon as they visit Jon’s family out on the farm for Christmas. Jon’s eccentric yet loving grandma steals the show. Recommended for the whole family.
A Charlie Brown Christmas: Take a break from the consumerism that threatens to overtake this special season with A Charlie Brown Christmas. If you love the movie, check out the book as well. Recommended for the whole family.
The Polar Express: Experience the wonders of the North Pole as seen through the eyes of a young boy. Tom Hanks voices multiple roles in this movie based on the Caldecott award-winning book by Chris Van Allsburg. Rated G, and recommended for ages 6 and up.
Jingle All the Way: Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a father who searches all over town at the last minute for this year’s hot Christmas toy for his son. Rated PG, and recommended for ages 7 and up.
