The Library offers several book clubs for different age groups.

My First Book Club: Preschoolers (ages 4+), Kindergartners, and 1st Graders are invited with their parents or caregivers to attend this book club. Kids will receive a free copy of the book at sign up, which can be read with the help of a parent. At our book club meeting, we will have a story time to explore the themes of the book, then enjoy snacks and fun activities. Registration is required.
Bookworms Book Club: Newly independent readers in grades 2-3 will challenge themselves with a chapter book each month, then come together to do activities, play games, eat snacks, and get excited about reading and sharing what they have read. Receive a free copy of the book during registration.
‘Tween Tomes: A book group for kids in grades 4-6 who like food, fun, and great books. Group meets the third Thursday of each month (September – May) from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Registration is required and is limited to 12. Participants will receive a free copy of the book compliments of the Friends of the Library through a Heart of Cook Grant.
Pizza & Pages Teen Book Group: A book group for teens in grades 7-12. Books are donated by the Friends of the Library. Registration is required. This group meets every other month.
Morning Book Club: A club for people who enjoy popular reads. Books will be available one month in advance during registration. This group meets the second Tuesday of the month.
Generation Next Book Club: Thought-provoking discussions in an informal environment. Meetings will take place at the Red Brick Cafe, 8952 1st St. in Baroda. Ages 18 and up. Registration is required.
