Volunteer at the Library and give back to our Community!
The library is very thankful for all of our patrons as well as our volunteers. We would not be able to do what we do without the constant support of our amazing community. Volunteers are a key part of our library and we are thankful for their help and support to grow the library’s programs and values.
Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone who is 14 years old and older is welcome to volunteer. Interest in libraries and books, love for our community, or a passion for helping others will help you accomplish the assigned activities. We welcome volunteers with a variety of different skills, interests, and abilities.
What Can a Volunteer Do?
Since our volunteers come from different backgrounds and have different skills and experiences, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers can assist librarians by prepping materials for displays, organizing library materials to return them to the shelves, assist with programs, -or help raise money for and awareness of library services as a member of a Friends Group. Volunteer tasks may vary throughout the year.

Please note: All adult volunteers (18 years old or older) will complete a background check, including ICHAT.

*We do not offer volunteer opportunities to individuals seeking court-ordered community service.
Once you turn in the application and it has been reviewed, a staff member will contact you to schedule orientation and sign up for shifts.
